Amorphous

Rattle of a vampire...

Dead be me, my mortal sways,
Heart turn'd cold, a cursed stone,
Emotions, once frozen dry,
Lust for blood, a destined crave.

Need by none, need'th none,
Life nor death, takes me 'live.
A rusted feather, steereth wild,
and a soulless piece of nature's art.

Give me breath, make me warm,
Fill me of thy flow of life,
Grant me of my heart that cries,
for the one, she shares, her song of love.

Of darker rays, thy closing sky,
Sly hath turn'd , her celestial smile,
Where winged witches whispers low,
Awakened 'gain, a scent flows slow.

1. A vampire is dead, and along with him, his human way of life is gone(mortal sways). He is cold hearted, and cursed to be a vampire for eternity. He doesn't feel emotions anymore, because he is not a human. He is destined to hunt for blood and that is the only thing that keeps him going.

2. Noone needs him and he doesnot need anyone either. He cannot live a life, or die peacefully. He is like a rusted feather, floating without direction. The last line compares nature to an artist. Nature created him, without much interest, as an artist creates an art without love.

3. He asks for breath of a human, and to make him warm once again(as a human), and to fill his body with blood. He asks for his heart, which can love the girl who loves him truly(the one who shares her song of love).

4." Darker rays" denotes the nightfall and "celestial smile" is an imagery to denote the wicked(sly) smile of the moon. 'Winged witches' is a metaphor for the bats. The bats who produce a lot of noise, calm down, fearing his arrival.  The vampire is awakened once again after his sleep during the day. The last line ends with the vampire finding a scent of a human in air. So he begins his hunt again.
